Kathy, I don't know the answer to your question. However, I do understand your anxiety about your latest blood workup. I take an OTC dmard that brings me great relief. It is now effecting my kidney function so I can never take it again. How frustrating to find a medication that really helps, but you can't use it. I am currently taking Enbrel, and have developed skin irrations on my fingers. They look like water blisters and are very sore. Sometimes difficult to hold a folk in my hand. Also taking methotrexate, now on 7 pills once a week. Has anyone else had this problem of the skin irrations on the fingers around the cuticle?

I haven't tried those Kathy, so can't help. But you're right, this is truly a fight. I had to reconcile myself to taking drugs that nobody knows exactly how they work, lots of side effects, etc. Then sometimes they don't work. So many decisions. I have come to trust my rheumatologist, so I just go with the flow these days. Hugs to you.

How high did it go up?Did they ever sort it out?
