I don't have pain in my sternum, but I do fight the super dry eyes, sinuses and mouth/throat! Have you been diagnosed with Sjogren's disease? It comes with R.A. in a lot of people. I use Restasis drops and take generic Evoxac for it. It doesn't cure it but makes the symptoms easier to bear!

My main concern is getting my dry eyes under control! The Restasis has seemed to quit working after taking it for years. My eye Dr. put temporary tear duct plugs in to help keep moisture from draining out. Now I am trying a new specially made eye drop that uses my own blood as it's basis! This is only my second day, so the jury is still out on it! Wish me luck! It's kind of expensive ($195 for 6 weeks worth of vials), but if it works, I will come up with the money!!!

Oh yes to both! The first time that I had pain in my sternum, I thought it was a heart attack! It was RA in my sternum. That was over 30 someyears ago!

RA Can effect any connective tissue in the body.

I also started feeling pain in my sternum. Wasn't quite sure if it's connected to my fybromyalgia or rheumatoid arthritis. Thanks for clearing that for me. But what is the cause of it??
