I have acid reflux and get stabbing pains but I have meds for it and know what it is. I would find out why you are getting the pains before the weekend. Hugs.
I would get a doctors opinion asap. It may be indigestion, but doctor should confirm.
I very often am never hungry. I do find a lot of food and the smell of it unappealing but always assumed I was picky. I too take prednisone but try to use it as a last resort only. I would get you thyroid checked... usually that is the culprit. Hypothyroid slows the metabolism rate down, causes aches and pains, depression, dry skin, and a bunch of other crazy things. Very common with an auto immune disease to also have a thyroid condition. Also prednisone makes you typically very hungry, however you retain a lot of fluid and TYPICALLY gain weight. It’s a simple test, id have it checked. If it is on the borderline high mark, have them recheck in a few months because it most likely will bump over
Sorry to hear that you're in pain. I agree with everyone call your doctor. I had this happen to me in the past, I even thought it might be a stroke/heart attack. My doctor said it was the RA ☹. Hope you feel better soon 🤗
