Hi John, I've been learning quite a bit with regard to health and energy since I got ra two years ago. We are told that digesting food consumes 50% of the energy we produce and our brains uses up another 30%.we are left with 20% for all other energy needs. Good quality sleep, best achieved on an empty stomach, is essential in order to replenish energy levels. It's best to eat a light supper not less than 3 hours before turning in. Also important is getting in some exercise before eating breakfast. Avoid eating between meals and so give your body a break from digesting between meals. With intermittent fasting you will find you have more energy. The most common form is eating only between 12 noon and 8:pm. The rest is a 16 hour fast. The body begins to heal itself 14 hours after you last meal, so this is a great way to start healing your ra naturally. I have advanced to doing an 18 hour daily fast or longer. As a result I have progressed to needing no medication and minimal inflamation. I wish you luck!

I take Protandim too. Is there a reason you’re’ not supposed to take too much turmeric? You know their sales pitch... the “synergy” of the ingredients is what makes it work... who knows, right? I do think it helps me. Enough where I keep taking it, even two a day if I feel like I’m fighting something off. I also started taking CBD oil a couple months ago and that has helped a lot with my energy. Before CBD I struggled hard to make it past 3 p.m. without hitting the biggest, thickest brick wall ever seen. Now I find, while I’m still very tired at the end of the day... I’ve at least made it there.

I’ve been taking vit B3 in a product called TruNiagen. I’ve been taking protandim- which I understand to lower oxidative stress, which helps with pain and inflammation. I am getting protandim ingredients because I shouldn’t take too much turmeric and it’s in it, I just read. I need to check. I do have more energy and am in little pain compared to what tests say. I workout, gently, because stiff it’s worse. I sleep and rest often. I still struggle with fatigue, but recently have been better.

B- complex with methyl folate (not folic acid) and methyl cobalymin (B-12), a good multi vitamin to start, good sleep (which is really hard to get with RA & OA), more veggies, healing leaky gut...
