I don’t doubt it causes a headache. Sulfasalazine caused extreme hair loss for me. It was more like a nightmare than a headache. From last May to this past December, I took a gallon size zip lock bag full of hair I had lost to my Dr. I am now on Plaquenil and Humira. Hair loss has slowed down significantly.

Mine has dropped in two years of taking mtx but I’m still taking it. I’m not sure I could take the pain without it

Thanks, Eth. I stopped MTX and Arava because of side effects. Now taking Plaquenil, but not sure if it's really doing much yet.

I have been diagnosed with osteoporosis and have had an infusion. I guess it could be a side effect of methotrexate?

I take it with food, it cause worse than migraines which causes the vomiting. Didn't know if anyone else has had this problem with sulfasalazine ?
