I've had both hips replaced - at different times. Surgeries went well and recovery much easier than I expected. Two important things: make sure your surgeon is experienced with hip replacements, and be conscientious with the exercises post-op. Nobody believes I've had them both done because of the normal way I walk. I thank the exercises for that. Good luck with surgery and your mother.

How long did it take for your recovery. I have to have my left hip replacement, but putting it off due to taking care of my 94 Dementia mother will find out more when she has her Cat Scan to see what stage she is and not sure if she has Ahziemers we will find out

I've had both hips replaced for OA/RA (never sure which) but both went well and recovery was faster than I expected. GOT TO DO the exercises you're given!!
