Well some days yes and, some days nothing seems to help! Except for my hot Epsom salt soaks! I sleep better on those nights and, some days im in the tub 2 or 3 times a day! Hot water helps me more than any pain med! Only thing is it's short lived! That's why I try to take my soak about an hour before I go to bed! My rheumatologist wants me see a pain management doctor but,at the moment i don't have the money to renew my medical insurance!

I am experiencing extreme stiffness too. It seems to help if I stretch really well after exercising and I am going to start making regular massage appointments. Good luck! :)

My muscles are sore in my calves, and arms. I take a Tylenol and a hot shower and it seems to get better as the day progresses.

Thanks yes I generally do my leg stretches in the tub! Just because my joints aren't as tight and,it less painful! I have ostieoarthritis as well so! Im always stiff! Glad to know im not the only one that has more pain do to weather changes! Today my knees just don't want to go! So unfortunately im using my husband's power chair but,if I don't I will fall! It's been raining all day! Grateful for it been in a drout but, these bones and joints beg to differ! Im still trying to figure out how I post a question on here lol! Brand new like 2 hours ago!

Hi yes I just found this site& so glad I did! Yes I experience this almost daily! In fact it's happening today! It's worse when it's raining and,it's been doing that off and,on all day! I also have muscle spasms in my spine! I've mentioned it to my rheumatologist and,he just looks at me! The only thing that helps is a hot as I can stand it soak in Epsom salt bath! If you can't get in the bath try just taking a hot shower and, just sit in the shower and,let the water sit on your muscles or whatever is hurting! I also have muscle relaxers and, only take them when I absolutely have to! They really zonk me out! Probably going to take one tonight! Another suggestion is have you heard of a product called theragelsic cream? It's at Walmart and,it's 4 dollars! It's pretty good but, very strong! I streak down in my robe and,let my husband rub me down in it! Apply a light layer at first because it burns when you first apply it until it gets down in the muscle good! I generally use 2 layers and,its wonderful! God bless!
