Positive anti ccp and RF usually mean your disease will be more agressive and erosive. That means the treatment should be aggressive to protect your joints as long as possible. Definitely need to see the right rheumatologist. Learn as much as you can and know your own body. You will always be your best advocate.

My numbers were high to start and i was given steroids and methotrexate. My doctor didn't wait to find out what my test were that he did he took the test at my my doctor did and started me on that said my numbers were too high for us to wait. So you need to get a second opinion.

I hope you are seeing a Rheumatologist?? Please do , if not. Agree with @A myRAteam Member that you should get a second opinion.

My rheumatoid factor was 220 when I was finally tested, my CRP and RBC Sed Rate were elevated, and my symptoms of aches and pains in both feet, shoulders, elbows, and finally hands led my rheumatologist to diagnose me with RA right away and start me on Hydroxychloroquine to bring the inflammation down and prevent progression of the disease. Get a second opinion and/or tell the doctor you are concerned about waiting to begin a treatment plan since you're already having symptoms and high levels. Good luck!
