Yes my sister had this disease and it is rough, there is a lot on the internet to get information my sister went to the Mayo Clinic and there was nothing they could do, it is like your body turns to stone. When they told my sister to get things in order it was hard as she had small children at home. She went and got every book on vitamins and started taking them by the handfuls and I am happy to say today she is doing well, she still has some problem from it but before she was bedridden and she was not going to live long so where the drs. gave up she started fighting. I don't want to upset you and I hope by now they have come along way in helping patients with this disease. Have a biopsy been done? I was told I need a biopsy to diagnose my Scleroderma

They call hers defused Scleroderma. She has a little in her lungs but so far they have stopped that from getting worse. She has to have lung, heart and and all kinds of other tests every year. So far just her hands have been the worse. We just keep our fingers crossed

@A myRAteam Member,Sorry I have not gotten back to you, I have been busy with doctors and myself but now have gotten a clean bill of health for the cancer. Now it sounds like your daughter has a more local type of disease seeing she has had it this long and it has stayed in her hands. Hugs
