Anyone else having trouble with Anthem covering leflunomide? I wanted to switch from @methotrexate because my hair is thinning at an alarming rate on mtx. Anthem is saying no. Does this have anything to do with it? https://ctmirror.org/2017/10/31/connecticut-all...

Their's some that say taking prenatal vitamins will help with hair loss. I myself found taking magnesium and selenium helped my hair loss dramatically. Selenium is not produced in the body but is needed for proper thyroid and immune system function. I took standard level of magnesium and 45mcg of selenium daily for approximately 3 months and my hair grew back thicker and more curly. But ALWAYS check with you doctor first before trying anything.

Yes I’ve been taking both. I’m just curious if anyone else is having difficulty obtaining leflunomide.

Are you on a prescription folic acid? Try taking biotin also.
