Has anyone else experienced severe neck pain and headaches? Is it related to RA or it's just me?

I too went through all the MRI BS to no avail! (Well, other than the bill)πŸ˜–
I was told it is fibromyalgia that is now also added to my diagnosis.πŸ™„
Still learning about this new ride but it definitely adds all kinds of fun, to our already fun ride!πŸ˜–

I literally just posted a question about flu-like feelings and mentioned that head/neck pressure/pain was one of the things that initially sent me to the doctor. Yes! I was only diagnosed a month ago so I'm not sure how typical this is, but I have an intense pressure in my upper neck/back of my head, like at the base of my skull. It worried me so much that I had an MRI (this was about a month before I finally was diagnosed with RA) which was normal. My rheumy says it's the RA that's causing it. It lasted about two months and scared me half to death!

A few years ago i noticed that i was experiencing changes in range of movement in my neck. recently neck was so sore could barely move it . X rays showed that neck cervical vertebrae have real issues. a few trips to the physiotherapist and neck exercise and posture help with pain. Really don't know if osteoarthritis or RA or menopause or just bad luck caused the problem . finding out is better than wondering ....the uncertainty wears one down

I am going thru the same and I reported to my rheumatology at Emily yearly visit and recently he took X-rays of this in the process of waiting to hear back from them. So far it might be degeneration from my computer work.

Yeah, I had my neck surgically rebuilt. The muscle spasms are the worst
