Dr’s need to quit giving the TB tests and just do chest x-rays and/or blood tests for TB. The skin tests are worthless. Don’t panic cause it won’t help you. Ask for a Chest X-Ray and go that way. It will show if you have TB which I doubt seriously that you do. Once you guys have been tested for TB by their skin tests never ever have those again. If you came back with a true positive and it showed a very strong reaction never get a skin test again. You could have a very bad reaction to the skin test if the give it again.

I had got a reaction from my tv test and they told me I had latent symptoms and they gave me medication to take for 3 months and then I have to tell only if asked when tested anywhere that I have latent TB, I don’t have it but I will always have a reaction if tested for it.

Were you ever around someone who had TB? I was but I didn’t know it until after the fact and I was kinda mad at the person because I felt that they should have told me, but hey it was a long time ago and nothing I can do about it now.

My Rheumatologist has only tested me one time for TB before starting a new drug and they all call for a TB test before I take them!! I see many red flags with this doctor. I'm not sure why she doesn't do the TB tests!
