I lost excellent insurance when we moved, & I feel your pain (no pun intended 😉). However, my new rheumatologist has the attitude "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I was thankful for that. Of course, we all know things can change in a few weeks, & what has been working, suddenly doesn't. I would think a new doc would not want to change what's been working. My best to you...

Is there a phone number that you can call and ask? My insurance goes to pharmacy. They will tell you if it is covered by that insurance.

I suggest you speak with your Dr about the change that is taking place...sometimes Drs will work with you still or may be able to give referral...I always asked my docs when things like this happened..''who would you send your mother to?''

I started my treatment in England and then moved to Australia NSW, my treatment remained exactly the same. I then moved again to Queensland and yet another rheumatologist and still exactly the same treatment. I get the idea that if a treatment is working forl you then they tend to stick with it.

Yes! Retired last year, lost Blue Shield and now on medicare. Blue Shield provider not offered in my area. Long story short medicare deemed my co payment is almost 2000.00 per month for my simponi infusions. Not able to take oral medications due to gastroparaisis. But I have become proactive; a lot of information on reliable information on the internet. Some help, other don't. I take it day to day and am thankful when my days are good.
