Members shared mixed experiences with Leflunomide for rheumatoid arthritis, with some finding it effective when combined with other medications like sulfasalazine, prednisone, Humira, or Plaquenil, while others experienced severe allergic reactions including rashes that required stopping the medication within days or weeks. Several members described the frustrating trial-and-error process of finding the right medication combination, with some expressing anxiety about being guinea pigs and considering dietary changes focused on anti-inflammatory foods rich in omega-3s. A recurring theme was the community's shared understanding of persistent pain in hands and feet, the challenge of managing flares while staying active, and the importance of sun protection while on these medications.

I have been on it for over 2 years with no reactions, except if I spend to much time in the sun I will get a rash

I am a very active person with a high pain tolerance, so sometimes I do too much. I am not take any kind of pain medication but over the counter tylenol
