I've been taking Xeljanz XR (the pill form) for almost three weeks and the improvement is dramatic. Yesterday I went on a zip line, and tomorrow I'm going out on a boat with friends. Three weeks ago, I was in such pain it hurt when someone touched me.

I took Xel Janz for 6 months and saw little improvement. I was disappointed as I had high hopes for the drug.

I was having a lot of pain so my doctor tried me on Xeljams. It didn't help much so I'm now on infusion, once a month.

I was changed onto Xeljanz from Humira about 9 months ago, and have found that it wasn't nearly as good as the Humira. I am also still having methotrexate in combination with it like I was with the Humira. Have just been to my Rheumatologist and she said that she has had a few disappointing results from the Xeljanz and has found that it isn't as successful as the studies have shown. Will be changing to Actemra now so hopefully it will be better. But over the last 40 yrs I have learnt that what works for one doesn't work for another. Hopefully you will get a good result and some relief from it.

I'm in XELJANZ XR and Methotrexate as well. It helps, at least I don't have to use injections of Enbrel anymore.
