I just started taking Humera. Doctor said it could take 6weeks before it takes affect. How long did anyone taking Humera injections take for you to start seeing any results?
My doc told me at least three months. It's been three months and I'm in pain due to fibro and tapering off of prednisone. A rep from Humira called me today to see how I'm doing and if I'm having any side effects. I told him I didn't think so as it is difficult when you have this damn disease and fibro and you can't get away from the pain. Only thing that helps is smoking pot.
You need to give it time. It can take a few months for the meds to kick in and be able to affect the RA, Patience is the key with the drugs and RA
I think you should give a medication 8 - 12 weeks anyways. I did not have success with humira. I tried it for 6 months but no luck and switched to Enbrel which I had great success with for 8 years. Good luck. Give it enough time but if you think it's not working after several months, urge your doctor to try something new
It was 4to6 weeks for it to start working on me. But after 1and half years of use I feel like it caused neuropathy in my feet so I stopped taking it. But not sure if that is what caused it because now I have fibromyalgia and that could have caused my feet pain.
