Diagnosis
I am seronegative ra. My rheumatologist even has mentioned that. Why does he always put Inflamatory arthritis as my diagnosis? My numbers were nearly high enough to be positive My ana is positive, and I have multiple advanced joint erosions. It kind of irritated me when another person I know went to the same place with very similar labs and results as myself and had instant ra diagnosis, all kinds of options offered, etc. Such as biologics. Sounds like it's time to find another rheumy.
Your doctor is saying you have RA, it's just seronegative. And RA is all about inflammation. You should talk to your rheumy about other drugs that might be helpful, including biologics. The whole idea is to slow down the damage the disease can do. Are you concerned that your doctor is not taking your condition seriously? If so, talk to him/her frankly about your concerns. Get another opinion or find a better fit. It is very important to have a good relationship with your rheumy. You're in it for the long haul.
Plaquenil will make you extremely tired. All I did was sleep and get infections while I was on it. Not to mention runny bowel movements too.
I've been diagnosed with a inconclusive connective tissue disease! What the heck is that! Seems like there not sure what exactly is going on with me and whether this is why I'm having so much trouble with my lungs! It's hard cuz you have to trust the doctors π¬
