Yes I think so too and I hope you are sucsesful
OMG You should never feel like that, simply because you have applied for help with a chronic medical condition. Use it to help you in whatever way you need to live your life on a daily basis, thats what it is for your personal indipendance. If you had stolen this, you may then say it would be criminal, but my guess is that you did not, so let it help you to live as indipendantly as you can and for as long as you can Fionar71
Your very welcome, but did you know that you can receive pip and still work,I believe it's a benifit that helps you to maintain a job at the same time as having a dissibility .
@Hi Sheila I had to give up work a few years ago actually they gave up on me, I was a cleaner in my local fire station. I have to say I was quite lucky as I got a pension although they tried to settle me with a percentage of the pension I fought to get all of it and won. I then was given ESA which is the new type of sickness benifit then after about one year past I had to go to a type of medical to see if I qualified for an other type of ESA. Which I did, while that was happening my RA was being treated with a different combination or drugs that didn't work it was my husband who helped me to claim for DLA and so I got that after an other medical because I'm a certain age my DLA was changed to PIP. So I think basically that is how it sort of works. After a period of time I believe I shall have to convince them that there has been no improvement in my medical issues, and as you probably know this is a life long condition I also have a thyroid condition from birth, and a couple more to add to that but I try as you do to get by from one day to the next. I do hope the pain we get lightens.
Thanks 😊
