My left hip hurt all of the time. I was diagnosed with bursitis long time ago but I believe it was the beginning of my RA but it's so hard to tell the difference between the RA and osteoarthritis. My hip hurts up into my back and it's difficult to walk long distance and stand for a long time. So confused.

@A myRAteam Member I had my right hip done in 2011 I was 36 yrs old I had my knees replaced at 33 and 34 and both shoulders replaced when I was 37 and 38. My orthopedic surgeon fought for my quality of life vs my age so it can be done and as long as I behave (ha ha) I won't need my left hip replaced until I am 45 in 3 yrs. I hope they can do something for you soon if need be tell them about everything I have had done a friend of mine did and that got her orthopedic surgeon moving on getting her fixed up.

I had my right hip replaced and will soon have to have the left done but it depends on what joint space you have left. By that I mean how much cartilage is left and are you bone on bone as to how it will be treated

I have Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid. The hip is osteopenia I have all 3. Yes a full left hip replacement it came so fast. Doing well and feeling ok.
