I have been having back pain and numbness in my left leg for about two years . They finally found I had lumbar 2,3,4,5 are deteriating , I am finding I have lost control over my bladder. Some days I am fine others , I will just urinate myself for no reason , sometimes it's a sneeze . or is this the medication I am taking. It can be very embarrassing at time , this is not little squirts, my bladder empties even if I just went to the .bathroom

More likely connected to your lumbar degeneration. Get back to the Doctors as soon as you can.

I had a bladder problem ,it fell and it had to be tied back up . I dont believe RA attacks the bladder ,joints

Thank you everyone . I have been using bladder control pads and they do work most of the time. Then I have days they are not enough . I am waiting for an appointment with my rheumatologist , he doesn't know about the lumbar deterioration yet or the hernia in the lumbar . I only see him twice a year, he is also in another city .

I have L5/s1 gone in my back with my discs drying out, with sciatica the pain is unbearable, I have an appointment for a nerve block for this friday3/3 and I also have bladder leakage and I'm really hoping this stops it! It's so embarrassing so I know how u feel I'll let you know if it goes big hugs to you!
