Does anyone get sore skin? I get patches of skin that feel hypersensitive and sore, these on my arms, legs, head. It comes and goes but it odd.
The mix of oils in my previous answer has really helped me. I have it on my hands, arms, and feet. The nice part with the oils is that they absorb in quickly. Coconut oil works really well also, but it seems that the essential oils help it more. My doc gave me a steroid cream, but you have to be so careful about getting it on you face, mouth and eyes. That is why I would rather use the oils.
Yes Amanda that's exactly it and it's usually a fairly small area maybe 2 or 4 inches. My Rheumy doesn't even attempt to suggest what it is or why... he just says probably part of one of the auto-immune conditions!!
It helps to know others have it though. Thanks
Yes! Does it feel like you are touching a bad sunburn or bruise? My GP said it sounds like I'm somewhere on the fibro spectrum and left it at that. My rheumy doesn't really diagnose that, but it is much better when I am on my meds.
I've been dealing with it too. I have been using a lotion (not on my head obviously! lol) called Ceravie (pretty sure that's the way it's spelled) and it usually helps some. Have you found anything that provides relief?
I have developed that on my arms. The best thing that has worked for me is a combination of oils in a roller. I combined cinnamon bark, nutmeg, cardamom, ginger, frankincense, mint, lavender, and cloves in a carrier oil. I roll it on and massage it in.
