I ice the area wher I get my shot for a few minutes beforehand. I also think it hurts less in the stomach. I knew someday the extra fat I had there would come in useful. LOL

When I took Humira, I also iced for a minute or two beforehand. I always did my injection in my thigh. It does sting for a few seconds, but it passes quickly. Good luck...hope it works for you!!

I would also suggest taking out of the fridge ahead of time. It only stings me for a few seconds after the shot. I always do mine in my stomach and the spot can be a little tender for about 30-60 minutes (e.g., if my dogs accidentally hit the spot, it hurts a bit). My Humira ambassador was amazing and a great help...I would highly suggest looking into that. And it's free!

Very simple to do. Are you going to be educated by a nurse on how to do this. A nurse came to my home for free to show the proper way do cleanse before shot. You can do it!!
