It (or other components that have it) are in so many meds that is making it very difficult to find meds I can take.

Oh that's awful! If they aren't all prescribed by the same Doctor I would make an appointment with a pharmacist and see what can be eliminated, with Drs. Approval of course. My brother in law is a nurse, and every time his wife's grandmother would come to visit she'd bring a grocery bag of medicine with her. He sat down, researched each one and they were able to get get down to 11 prescriptions. She was literally taking meds to off set meds she was taking! But please, don't try to do it yourself!
