Who else has gone gluten free? I have been for about 2 months now. It does seem to help and I know when I eat something with gluten 2 hours later I feel it.

Members overwhelmingly shared their positive experiences with going gluten free for rheumatoid arthritis, with many reporting reduced pain, inflammation, and stomach issues after eliminating gluten from their diets. Several members described practical challenges like missing favorite foods such as pasta and bread, offering helpful tips including trying multiple gluten free pasta brands, making homemade sauces to improve taste, using zucchini spiralizers as alternatives, and shopping at stores like Trader Joe's and Aldi for better options. A recurring theme was the immediate physical feedback when accidentally consuming gluten, including joint stiffness, neck pain, ankle swelling, and digestive discomfort, reinforcing the strong connection between diet and symptom management for many in the community.

I think gluten is the way for RA suffers anything that helps reduce the inflammation in our bodies is great . Reducing or eliminating sugar, salt, white rice, white flour (pasta), white potatoes, some dairy too has been said to help " carbs equal sugar equal inflammation " We don't need that🐞

That is a great question actually. I have found if I stick to my Glutem free diet properly & eat properly, good freshfruit & vegiegetables, I do feel so much better. Also I found lemons & anything to acidic effects our pain really badly for some reason. For me anyway. Hope that helps!!

I'm on gluton free and if I eat reg bread..my ankles will swell. Stomach pains and feel terrible...I didn't recognize the blahs until I stopped gluten. Wellness doctors believe a leaky gut is one cause of RA...I don't know but it feels good to have minor aches and not horrid pain.
