I had a problem free pregnancy with ra. It can be done . Some woman state a decrease in symptons.3rd trimester was really uncomfortabe,due to weight bearing...but thats typical for any woman. I suggest talking to gyn ot midwife and state your concerns.

Have you tried Planquil ( hydroxychloroquine). It is said to help decrease the risk of pregnancy

Most women with RA go into remission as soon as they get pregnant. I know I did, and my only symptom was the ever present overwhelming fatigue. Good luck! Do not be dissuaded.

I stopped methotrexate 2 months ago so that I can start trying to conceive in 2 months. I still take my Humira shot ever 2 weeks. Praying for the best.

Many doctors can be very supportive of women trying to get pregnant. When I saw my new doctor, she introduced the idea of changing meds in case I decided I did want to get pregnant. For me, she just wanted me to be off Methotrexate for 6 months (though 3 is sufficient), while switching to a biologic for management Anne have my RA under control prior to conception.
