Natural Remedies

Has anyone tried any natural remedies that worked? My Dr pulled me off all RA meds 3 weeks ago due to an extremely severe reaction. RA is horrible now. This has happened before. I have been on MTX, Arava, and Humira. They all caused severe reactions. I have read olive leaf extract helps. Has anyone tried any supplement with success? ?

@natural remedies Hi Herewith what I take or rather took before Methotrexate.
I was only diagnosed on the 1 Oct 1015 and started my poison ( methotrexate) then. In May/June/July I was in quite a bit of pain and was living on arcoxia anti inflamatory and painkillers. In august I stopped the painkillers as I didnt want to get hooked on these. I started taking Krill Oil, Astaxanthin 5mg which is in Krill Oil but not enough. I also took a probiotic 9 strain, Vitamen D3 5000 and Folic Acid. I dont know which helped but my pain got less. I still had swelling in my knees and wrists but my pain was fine. In June July and August I couldnt even open a coke bottle. by the time I went to see my RA specialist most was ok. At this point I have stopped my anti inflamatory as I dont want my kidneys damaged. I am only taking the poison and folic acid and I have very slight pain which is bearable. So you could try this and if you do I hope it helps. Lots of luv and light to you.

I have cut out sugar, most carbs, cut back red meat and started juicing. I take turmeric with pepper, coconut oil and applesauce every day. I drink green tea with lemon, ginger, raw honey, fresh rosemary and cinnamon. Many little changes. Most of my food is fresh, organic when I can. Greek yoghurt and probiotics can help gut flora. I am virtually painfree many days, taking mtx. I think food is very important. Every little positive change you make helps. :)

I take chaga mushrooms and fulvic acid. Change your diet, more veggies and fruit, gluten free. Add a lot of turmeric to your diet. These help me.

I have reactions to drugs, too, so I'm only taking Naproxen right now when I can't bear it. But my arthritis is also really bad, and I'm seeing a naturopath which I'd advise...I can tell you what I am trying, but it might not necessarily work for you - my naturopath has done a bunch of testing and is proceeding from that. I do know some of the things I have tried have helped a little - MSM, Celadrin, Boswellia, Turmeric, Serrapeptase, and Fish oil...I take them all. Let me know if the Olive Leaf helps, that's one I've never tried!
