good morning, The Entheses are sites where the tendons, ligaments, and joint capsule attach to the bone. Enthesitis is the inflammation of this and a well known hallmark of arthritis. Seen in spondyloarthitis. ( I have this in my shoulder and into my spine.) I found mine on MRI which is more sensitive to picking this up.
