Yes, especially Plaquenil causes alteration of taste. Try drinking a lot of water. If you drink ten 8 ounce cups of water a day and space it out every two hours you can dilute the medication in your system. When you do that you will decrease the side effects of the medication nicely. If you are in the heat drink an extra two cups. Good luck! :)
