Have rheumatologist check magnesium level, I had this same issue (almost like Charlie horses)...I was low she had me add supplement, and it has been sooooo much better after that first month.
You can also check you Vit D level that will cause muscle cramps. I get my cramps at night I in bed. Makes me want scream. The cramps decreased after started the Vit D.
I get the cramps too. My hands & ankle \ feet are the worst!!
Costrochondritis may be part of the rib pain....
I take zanaflex & tramadol for them.
Magnesium with a calcium boost helps with muscle cramps. Vitamin D which is easy to get if you can get just a half hour of sunlight a day. Massage helps. Drinking lots of fluids helps, especially if you are on a water pill of any sort. Some meds deplete electrolytes, which can cause muscle cramps and spasms.
I also take daily magnesium and it really helps.
