Avon Lake, OH

What drug are you on and for how long and what have been your results?

My doctors have wanted me on something but I have so far refused them, because of the stories I have heard about them thus far. I have yet to hear a success story.

Members shared encouraging experiences with Reclast infusions for osteoporosis, with several reporting improved bone density after one to three years of annual 15-minute treatments and no significant side effects beyond mild fatigue for a day or two. Many members emphasized that while Reclast strengthens bones and can prevent fractures from falls, it does not address joint pain or rheumatoid arthritis symptoms, leading some to combine it with physical therapy, pain management, and targeted exercises to build core and muscle strength. A recurring theme was relief at finally hearing positive stories about bone-building medications, with members feeling more open to trying Reclast after learning it was well-tolerated, covered by Medicare, and genuinely effective at reducing fracture risk.

I have been on yearly reclast infusions for three years. It takes 15 minutes. I have had no problems and every year my bones are a little better!

Yes it was covered. My mom is a little more tired for a couple days after an infusion. Before starting the reclast she broke bones every time she fell. The last couple of spills have been break free. Definitely working. She just turned 80.

No problems, surprisingly, 15 minutes once a year. No gastrointestinal issues!!

Yes it was covered by Medicare

My mother has quite severe osteoporosis. She began reclast infusions a few years ago. Her bones have gained strength and become more solid each year.
