Been wondering if medicinal marijuana would be effective with pain. Anyone use it? Or what about other holistic type treatments? Any ideas? I'm desperate to get rid of this debilitating pain.

Members shared overwhelmingly positive experiences using medical marijuana for rheumatoid arthritis pain, with many finding that high-CBD products (topical rubs, oils, or smokable forms) provided significant relief by relaxing joints and muscles, reducing swelling, and helping them use fewer opioid medications. Several members described practical approaches, including using CBD-dominant strains or topicals during the day to stay functional, switching to higher-THC options at night for sleep, and combining cannabis with other holistic treatments like yoga, meditation, turmeric, and ginger. A recurring theme was frustration with doctors who refuse to discuss or prescribe cannabis due to legal or political concerns, even when members are desperate for pain relief and willing to explore any option that might reduce their suffering.

I use cannabis, and it is very helpful. The cannabis that has a higher CBD rather than THC content is more effective for medicinal uses. In fact, if the THC is not activated by heat, it is not psychoactive. It won't get you high. Cannabis can be used in topical form. For example: http://motherearthconcepts.com/our-products/xte...
It is also effective when used with pharmaceutical opiate based pain control. I have helped people reduce their pain medications by using cannabis. The psychoactive effects can be helpful for pain control as well. It is nice to feel a little removed from the pain for just a little while.
I wish doctors would see past the political blinders, and look at this plant as another possible treatment option. When I discuss the plant I use the word 'cannabis' because the word 'marijuana' has been attached to such negative connotations.

Can someone recommend a brand of cbd oil or site? Feel weird just ordering off any site I find. Be careful with actual weed, some of it can actually make you feel worse. If you go to a dispensery they should be able to help you get the kind right for what ails you.

Yes there are topical CBD treatments that don't get you high, and they work! It is a new industry, but I really hope it becomes legally accessible for everyone. Politics should not dictate your medical care.

That's so backward because it doesn't replace the opiate pain medications. It helps them to be more effective so less are needed. I hope you get some relief.

Yes I do not like the high tic content as can't work on it but the high cbd helps lots.
