I took the oral twice and had severe stomach problems. Doctor says with the shot I won't have these problems, so I'm hoping she's right. I'm taking the folic acid also, as well as Hydroxychloroquin and Meloxicam. Anyone else have luck with these drugs?
I was on Hydroxychloroquine, but it interfered with medication that is controlling my epilepsy so I had to stop taking it. In the meantime my RA has progressed and the docs say I need to get back on RA meds. They said either Sulfasalazine 500mg or Methotrexate 2.5 mg. My Family Doctor was discussing all of the Medications I am taking.
He said some of his RA patients stopped taking Methotrexate when they added a Biologic Medication.
Awhile ago I added Xeljanz to my Methotrexate.
I’m going to start taking methotrexate this week but was wondering about drinking I like to have a glass or two of wine a evening with dinner. What’s everyone experience on drinking, really worried about the side affects of these tablets, any help much appreciated.
Yes. I’m not a usual drinker by nature. But a small glass of white wine, and I mean like three to four sips, is all I’ll have on a special occasion. I am aware even then that perhaps I shouldn’t. But… read more
