Hi Regina88. I took Plaquenil 200 mg daily for 6 years with no side effects. It wasn't working as well. I have been on Methotrexate for 6 years. I have not had any side-effects from this.

I've taken Plaquenil for about 3 years. I started at 200mg. When it stopped working well, I went up to 400mg. I haven't had any bad side effects. I get my eyes checked by an opthalmologist every year due to the risk of eye damage from it and have always gotten a good report.

I took it years ago. I don't recall having any issues with it. My rheumatologist switched me to Arava, and I've been on that for several years with no issues along with an injectable biologic.
