I have a question about Actemra. Why would I take such a dangerous medicine with awful side effects

@A myRAteam Member I'm also on Enbrel. As mush as it cost, I feel I should be doing cartwheels and backflips!

@A myRAteam Member yes I remember you told me that you were also talking the Celebrex not to long ago. Its our last message that inspired me to visit my rheumatologist to discuss my current treatment and to stop settling that this is my norm. I've been on the Enbrel going on a year this July. They say it can take up to the full year with some people to fully work. My labs have definitely improved but just in 2 months time from my last visit. My labs went to the best to back to abnormal. We have added the Celebrex with Deplin. Which I've been on for 2 weeks. After a month will add a nice dose of B complex for that added bump. Which I did not know they make methotrexate by injections, which I would be a perfect candidate for..to help bypass the side effects. I'll hold off on that one for now. Then a follow up next month. @A myRAteam Member I with you on the cost. After my insurance I'm paying $1600 a month. Again for the price...I should be feeling like a champ running marathons. I wish you good health on your journey for a new med.

Hello there, I have been on Embrel for 29 years. It is very good med for RA, but my insurance is crazy cost which I can not afford. $300 a month is a lot & I am looking into something else. I was doing very well till I took 2 shot in 2020 for Covid which now I wish I had not. It has made my RA worse. So I am not going to take Embrel to much longer.

I have been reading up GLP-1, John Hopkins has done research on it and it is helping RA patients I have going to talk to my doctor about & show her the article. I want off Embrel due to the cost of it now. So will let you all know how it goes!! BLESSINGS💖💖

I have RA and recently diagnosed with PMR as well. Been on orencia/sulfasaladine ,now suggesting actema plus pred. Any suggestions for morning relief until pred kicks in. Very painful hips/shoulders
