RA doctor said I did not have to have twice a year and I am working only two half days/week but I am working at many different locations? I have an esophagus infection last year and also had to have emergency surgery to have my appendix removed :(
@A myRAteam Member I get the Covid Vaccine and the Flu Vaccine in the Fall (usually late September or early October) every year. I have never been advised to get Covid vaccine twice a year but I think I will ask my Dr's advice when I see him next. I do my best to stay safe and away from people as much as possible. I most times order groceries online from Walmart and have them load them into my car. I am retired so honestly I can stay away from people unless I have a Dr appointment. Thank you for the suggestion, I do plan to follow up.
No I dont trust them. I got the first 2 only because of work.
Great question! For most people, the COVID-19 vaccine is now offered once a year, typically in fall or winter. However, for those living with RA, doctors may recommend getting boosters more frequently — sometimes twice a year or more — due to the immune system being compromised.
