I have seronegative rheumatoid arthritis and my first grandchild is due to be born in 6 days or less and I’m looking for ways to help me be able to interact with her without being miserable.
Tonya I wonder if ordering the next larger size of Bamboo Compression Gloves might help you? If you have a Small size pair, order a Medium size pair. They should not be so tight as to be uncomfortable for you.
I did order the compression gloves. Sometimes my hands are so swollen though , it seems the compression makes them worse. Does anyone else have that trouble with them?
I listen to my body & try not to overdo it. Sometimes for me that means saying no to activities but it is what it is. I also have FMLA from my work which protects me if I need to take a day or more off occasionally to rest/recharge & I have transitioned to working from home permanently & was lucky my job offered this option to me.
I kind of figured there may not be much I could do but her and my daughter will be living with me the first few years so just trying to see what I could do. I did order some compression gloves for my hands and I’m hoping that will help a little bit.
Congratulations Ashley,
I did not find the AI response helpful. I’m usually very stiff and sore after a day with the grandbabies. But I would not give it up for anything! I tolerate it and then need extra rest for a couple days after.
