Is it easy to get fatigued after two good days, even with minimal stress?
Yes, this is a very common experience with rheumatoid arthritis. Fatigue from RA is unpredictable and can hit hard even after you've had a couple of better days. It's not just about being tired—it's a deep exhaustion that doesn't go away with rest.
Fatigue can happen at any time for a multitude of reasons. Others here are mentioning medications, but fatigue is also a main symptom of RA. Your body thinks it's infected 24/7 and is pulling resources to help fight your joints. Make sure you aren't overexerting yourself during your good days, as that will set you up for a day of exhaustion.
With all the side effects that is given on the tv ads you would think that people would realize that these drugs are dangerous.
The doctors prescribe these drugs at a drop of a hat. The drug reps go by the offices and leave samples so the doctors basically use the patients as guinea pigs. It used to be that the drugs were tested over a long period of time. Now with so called technology these drugs are put out quickly and to protect the drug companies they put out all these warnings. Most doctors do not know what all the side effects are. So if you don’t know the interactions with the drugs that you already on, it can be dangerous. The doctors don’t tell about blood clots, kidney failure etc. if you feel worse they expect you to call and make appointment if they have an opening.
Our motto is hurry up and wait!
Fatigue is also a side effect from certain medications
