Have you heard of using a vibration plate to help with RA?

Vibration plates aren't specifically mentioned in the available information about RA management. However, many people with RA do find relief through various forms of low-impact exercise and movement therapies.

Some approaches that myRAteam members have found helpful include:

* Water aerobics and swimming - gentle on joints while strengthening muscles
* Tai chi - improves balance, flexibility, and range of motion
* Chair exercises and stretching
* Physical therapy with guided exercises

If you're interested in trying a vibration plate, it's important to talk with your rheumatologist or physical therapist first. They can help determine if it's safe for your specific situation and whether it might complement your current treatment plan.

Some people with RA need to be cautious with certain types of movement, especially during flares. A healthcare provider can guide you on the best timing and intensity for any new exercise approach.

Hi Gary,
My daughter bought two types of excercise help, for me, to keep the blood flow going.
1) a machine that sits on the floor, you put both feet on top and it provides a deep massage. You can pick the speed. Initially, I thought it was going to be to hard on my feet. But it has kept the blood circulating and my feet feel great;
2) she got me individual wraps for my legs, which massage and give pressure to make the blood flow;
Both of these are Great and can be used sitting down!
I hope this helps.
