When I started Alendronic Acid and Vit D3 I felt really nauseous and unwell after the first tablet. I persevered and the side effects disappeared with the next dose. I think our bodies do have to adjust to all new medications and unfortunately all medications have side effects. I also know that I get anxious and worried when starting a new medication and that leads to bad sleep with me. Try and persevere as the Alendronic acid and Vit D3 (supposedly) protect our bones and we need this particularly if taking steroids. Of course, if the side effects persist contact your doctor.
