I just talked to my pcp. We live in a townhouse where the bedrooms and showers are upstairs but kitchen dining and living room/ half bath are on the second or main floor. Don't yall ever wish we could just 'un plug " the hurty joints and let them reset like we do with other things lol. Only only the strongest can survive this naughty disease!
I think it is so great your husband cares for you and how you feel
At times like this, you need to do what's best for you , your health and your comfort. Your husband will no doubt survive without you upstairs for the short time required.

Hi Deb,
So sorry you are going through this with your hips, certainly no fun.
A Dexa Scan is recommended to see if this is Osteoporosis. My lower back and hips were hurting, every day, once the Dexa was done, my Rheumatologist prescribed Prolia. It is an injection, every 6 mos. Pain has stopped and bone damage stopped.
Feel better soon!
