The pain can vary in intensity and may feel worse at night or during cold weather. Some people experience associated symptoms like a cold sensation in their legs along with sharp pains. If you're experiencing leg pain, it's important to discuss it with your rheumatologist, especially if you're taking medications like methotrexate. They can help determine if the pain is related to your RA or medication side effects and suggest appropriate treatment options. Some people find relief through gentle exercise, physical therapy, or using heating pads.
