I recently have gone into remission after being on a biologic for about 18 months. I still take hydroxychloroquine and go in every month for vitamin infusions. We are monitoring it and I have been pain-free for almost 2 years.

No. If you are feeling good while using biologics, then that most likely means they are working. If you stop using your prescribed medication, your symptoms may return and if you then restart your biologic it might not necessary work the second time around.

I am 14 years in now on this RA merry go round, I occasionally need to change medications because they stopped working, but, I would never stop a medication when it is working.

The pain of RA is real and I would never do anything that may cause or increase that pain.

Out of interest, why would you want to stop
