I have osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, and for a cherry 🍒 on top. God added Degenerative disk disease, and Degenerative bone disease. I have shattered both feet, but still walk. I've walked bone on bone. No knee caps no cartledge 10years. I was 5'6
I am 4'11" now. I don't know how to answer a pain question of 1-10
Do they mean what my pain is? Or if they had it what would it be. I stay in constant pain. But all the pain meds made me gain so much weight I was almost half a… read more

Tiffany, hi there. It can be overwhelming and discouraging dealing with multiple health issues. I too have RA, raynaud's, Sjogren's, scleroderma (still hoping that diagnosis is a mistake!) migraines, advanced degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis and bone spurs in many locations. I've shrunk over two inches too! Fun times. Seriously though, humor and hope help in dealing with all of these issues. Hang in there! Go get you some shiny new knees! 🙂

Corrie, I absolutely believe rheumatoid arthritis should be renamed. Rheumatoid disease is more accurate than rheumatoid arthritis. This isn't osteoarthritis. Most people think they are one and the same. Very different.

So sorry for what you’re going through. It is true a lot of people really don’t understand the plight of those with RA. We lose a lot of family and friends because they don’t what we go through. I have RA, osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia snd it does get tough but you gain strength as you have shown. You are young with a lot of life left so don’t let others who not understanding your pain and suffering make what you’re going through tougher. There are many here and other sites who get it. Actually most people think you just have arthritis so it’s a hard pitch explaining sometimes. Anyway, so sorry for my long note, just wanted to let you know you’re not on this road alone. God Bless you.
