Members shared the everyday tasks that rheumatoid arthritis makes unexpectedly painful, with opening jars, fastening bras, gripping utensils, and turning keys emerging as nearly universal struggles. Several members found relief through dietary changes, particularly reducing sugar and carbs, with some reporting decreased inflammation and pain after adjusting what they eat, while others emphasized the importance of advocating for medications that work best for their individual needs. A recurring theme was the invisible burden of living with RA, including chronic exhaustion, the frustration of others not understanding the pain, and the emotional toll of pretending everything is okay when it's not.

I had the majority of these problems whilst on medication. I changed my diet as I realized food was causing the majority of the inflammation and stopped all medication. I am on a product called Blast daily greens, reds and collagen as well as medicinal mushrooms. Cannot express how much the medication causes major issues with your gut health which makes you feel worse and lowers your immune system.
