Members shared a wide range of strategies for overcoming sleep difficulties, from prescription options like Ambien, Lyrica, gabapentin, and cyclobenzaprine to over-the-counter aids such as Benadryl, melatonin, and CBD. Several members described practical sleep hygiene techniques that have helped them, including using soft orange earplugs from Walmart to block noise, maintaining a cool and completely dark bedroom, wearing comfortable natural fabrics, using weighted blankets, running ceiling fans for white noise, taking hot baths before bed, applying lavender oil to the feet, drinking warm herbal concoctions with matcha and turmeric, eating fruit at bedtime, and taking vitamin D with fat late in the day to support natural melatonin production. A recurring theme was the importance of creating a calming bedtime environment, avoiding screens two hours before sleep, and experimenting with different approaches to find what works best for your body.

- **Sleep apps**: Smartphone apps for sleep and meditation might help you relax.
- **Diet changes**: Adjusting what and when you eat may have a positive effect on your sleep.
- **Electronics**: Turning off devices at least an hour before bed can signal your body it's time to wind down.
- **Consistent sleep schedule**: Going to bed and waking up at the same time every day can regulate your sleep cycle.

If pain or anxiety is a significant issue, discussing options like CBD or prescription cannabis with your doctor could be beneficial. Remember, it's important to consult with a healthcare provider before trying new supplements or making significant changes to your routine.

Hi Jackie, fruit πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ“ is good to eat at bedtime to help with sleep. If I have a problem I will take a πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€ aide not every night but occasionally

Can you take Lyrica Lyrica you can have your doctor subscribe you and it doesn't matter how. It affects you cause you will be sleeping but I call it the miracle pill it takes the pain away and the achy tickley feeling away. I started on 75mg but now on 150mg AWESOME

Jackie, I have to use Ambien. Most nights it works to get me to sleep. Doesn't always keep me asleep. Lavender oil on the bottom of your feet can help. I hope you figure it out soon. It really does effect how you feel.

I'm a firm believer in Vitamin D. It has helped reverse osteoprenia for me and i wouldn't be surprised if it's good for other issues. Have your level checked by your doctor though before dosing yourself. But for sleeping I use soft ear plugs and maybe a glass of milk before bed time. The ear plugs make me feel like I'm underwater and it's a soothing feeling (plus I don't hear my dog and husband if they snore). If not using the earplugs, our ceiling fan has a soothing sound too. CBD too if I'm really having a problem.
