Drugs are causing me to have very thinning hair.It is not nice and I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions to make this problem more tolerable.
I take a B-complex vitamin and hair and nails vitamin and it has seamed to help.
I started taking biotin. It took a few months but it’s definitely helping.
Also, I wash my hair less often and use a gentle shampoo. Rarely use a blow dryer, just air dry. Just finished my supply of biotin. I’ve wanted to try this collagen supplement. My sister has been using it for years and she swears by it. Giving it a try 😎
I’m sorry, wish I could suggest something. But as an old man I don’t have hair Hope someone will provide you with a regiment of hair care.
Good morning Motlah,
I had hair loss with two medications, methotrexate and leflunomide. Plus, the many other side effects I found intolerable. I recommend trying a new medication. I recommend requesting a new medication from your Rheumatologist. I have found openly communicating with your doctor is beneficial to you and your doctor.
