@A myRAteam Member Ask your doctor about a biologic. Long term use of prednisone isn't great but it's a very helpful medication for the interm

I’m on 15 mg and 10 mg of prednisone. My doctor says I need to get off prednisone but I’m in so much pain. I feel lost.

I was originally on injections. I didn't have any major side effects. I didn't feel like it helped much, but i also was on a complicated different medication regimen. I'm now on oral methotrexate once a week along with Enbrel and low dose prednisone. That seems to be helping. 🙂
