Members responded to a question about using Moringa as a supplement with mixed experiences and cautious curiosity, though most had never heard of it before. Several members shared practical guidance including checking WebMD for drug interactions, consulting with doctors before starting (especially for those on methotrexate, Enbrel, or blood pressure medications), and noting that it comes in powder, capsule, or tea forms, with a few members reporting modest benefits for energy while others noticed no difference or experienced itching. A recurring theme was skepticism about supplements lacking FDA oversight and peer-reviewed studies, balanced by openness to trying natural remedies when conventional treatments fall short, with members emphasizing the importance of medical professional guidance over anecdotal claims.

Doctors get no training in nutrition and certainly not herbs. Pharmaceutical companies have reps that go around to all the doctors offices to not only promote new drugs but they also give doctors gifts like expensive cruises, etc. MDs are not the ones to get advice on such things.

Hi Wendy, it comes in powder form so you can add to smoothies or foods. I think it’s also a capsule. If my dr give me the go ahead I would do a capsule. Some folks mentioned the powder is very bitter. Check webmd site. Also check www.medicalnewsroday.com It’s good for inflammation and quite a few other things…

Never heard of it. But then, I am.not into herbal tea . I am really sceptical of all these magic healers
Science has been working on RA for over 40 years. Don't you think that if there was a magic pill or tea, someone would have mentioned it ages ago. I am a retired RN, and to my knowledge, there still is not a treatment out there that works completely. There are many medications, but no real good treatment for all symptoms. I knew of 1 years ago ... injections of "bee venom ". It actually worked. I had 2 injections, RA disappeared and did not raise its ugly head until 3 1/2 yrs ago. And guess what? They took it off the market. The bee venom. And why. Because it worked.
