Have gone thru the whole regimen for PMR with pred. Very successful. 3 years later treated with Hydroxyqloroquin and sulfasalizine for a year to no avail for RA. I ache constantly. Quit my meds and went back to pred 10mg just to see. Instant relief for a whole week now. Am very interested in the plaquenil because I dont need the side effects of prolonged prednisone.
