I started getting once a week methotrexate injection,I need information on side effects especially nightmares,headaches,I know all medications have side effects but nightmares? I have never had this problem except now. I can put up with a lot but the nightmares are not fun,so any information will greatly be helpful.Thank you
Hi Beth. That’s awful. I was on methotrexate for quite a few months and I didn’t have any problem that way. I did lose quite a bit of hair though.
I actually had to get off the medication because my liver did not like it.

I'm on methotrexate 15mg injections and get terrible night terrors the only other medication I'm on is folic and ibuprofen
I was on methotrexate and the only side effect I had was a bit of hair loss. Sadly though my liver didn’t like it. It was an effective medication because using it with hydroxycholoquine I had no arthritis pain
